Leaves and Vines

Fog is lifting and the sun is making it's mark on the leaves and vines. Moisture hangs in the air, but not for long. This is from a chiaroscuro oil sketch. Starting with muted tones and adding color later in the process I developed this painting over time. I probably worked on and off for four months until it was there for me.
